“The Tuscaloosa City Councils Public Safety Committee will consider whether to label some dog breeds as vicious, City Councilman Harrison Taylor said.

In the wake of the controversy surrounding Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick and fighting dogs, Taylor said vicious dogs are becoming far too prevalent in the city.

…Taylor said he sees dogs chained up without shelter or running loose in defiance of the citys leash law. He also sees dogs left with children who are too small to control them.”

Please contact the Tuscaloosa City Council and tell them that their current leash and animal cruelty laws are adequate. They just simply need to be enforced.
